WINNING THE GOLD MEDAL

Do you not know that in a race the runners all compete, but only one receives the prize? Run in such a way that you may win it. Athletes exercise self-control in all things: they do it to receive a perishable garland, but we an imperishable one. 1Coninthians 9:24-25 NRSV

Therefore, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us also lay aside every weight and the sin that clings so closely, and let us run with preseverance the race that is set before us, looking to Jesus the pioneer and perfecter of our faith, who for the sake of the joy that was set before him endured the (dealth of the) cross, disregarding its shame, and has taken his seat at the right hand of the throne of God.

The Messiah taught His followers to love one another and to pass this love to the world.   Jesus is the Son of the living God.   He gave His only begotten Son for us to die on the Cross for the whole human race. Thank you Jesus for what you did for us, dying on the cross for the forgiveness of Sin.   Jesus said to His followers love you your enemies and treat them well.  Thank you Father God for the love you have for us.   You said we are your Friend and that you are with us until the end of age.   Blessing are you my Lord and Savior, Amen!   Thank you Holy Spirit of the living God for showing us the true.   Thank you Blessed Father God, Abba for all your love, in Jesus name.
