They Will Remember

I received this story form someone on my Face book page.  It was passed on to me.  There is no name or who wrote this piece of art work or the name of picture taker.  So therefore, I am passing this story onto you.  Be Bless!
Last Ride I arrived at the address and honked the horn. After waiting a few minutes I honked again. Since this was going to be my last ride of my shift, I thought about just driving away, but instead I put the car in park and walked up to the door and knocked. Just a minute', answered a frail, elderly voice. I could hear something being dragged across the floor. After a long pause, the door opened.

A small woman in her 90's stood before me. She was wearing a print dress and a pillbox hat with a veil pinned on it, like somebody out of a 1940's movie. By her side was a small nylon suitcase. The apartment looked as if no one had lived in it for years. All the furniture was covered with sheets.

There were no clocks on the walls, no knickknacks or utensils on the counters. In the corner was a cardboard box filled with photos and glassware. Would you carry my bag out to the car?' she asked. I took the suitcase to the cab, then returned to assist the woman. She took my arm and we walked slowly toward the curb. She kept thanking me for my kindness. 'It's nothing', I told her.. 'I just try to treat my passengers the way I would want my mother to be treated.' 'Oh, you're such a good boy, she said. When we got in the cab, she gave me an address and then asked, 'Could you drive through downtown?' 'It's not the shortest way,' I answered quickly. 'Oh, I don't mind,' she said. 'I'm in no hurry. I'm on my way to a hospice. I looked in the rear-view mirror. Her eyes were glistening. 'I don't have any family left,' she continued in a soft voice. 'The doctor says I don't have very long.' I quietly reached over and shut off the meter.

What route would you like me to take?' I asked. For the next two hours, we drove through the city. She showed me the building where she had once worked as an elevator operator. We drove through the neighborhood where she and her husband had lived when they were newlyweds. She had me pull up in front of a furniture warehouse that had once been a ballroom where she had gone dancing as a girl. Sometimes she'd ask me to slow in front of a particular building or corner and she would sit, staring into the darkness, saying nothing. As the first hint of sun was creasing the horizon, she suddenly said, 'I'm tired. Let's go now'. We drove in silence to the address she had given me. It was a low building, like a small convalescent home, with a driveway that passed under a portico. Two orderlies came out to the cab as soon as we pulled up.
They were solicitous and intent, watching her every move. They must have been expecting her. I opened the trunk and took the small suitcase to the door. The woman was already seated in a wheelchair. 'How much do I owe you?' She asked, reaching into her purse. 'Nothing,' I said. 'You have to make a living,' she answered. There are other passengers,' I responded.

Almost without thinking, I bent and gave her a hug. She held onto me tightly. 'You gave an old woman a little moment of joy,' she said. 'Thank you.' I squeezed her hand, and then walked into the dim morning light.. Behind me, a door shut. It was the sound of the closing of a life. I didn't pick up any more passengers that shift. I drove aimlessly, lost in thought. For the rest of that day, I could hardly talk. What if that woman had gotten an angry driver, or one who was impatient to end his shift? What if I had refused to take the run, or had honked once, then driven away? On a quick review, I don't think that I have done anything more important in my life. We are conditioned to think that our lives revolve around great moments.

But great moments often catch us unaware-beautifully wrapped in what others may consider a small one. PEOPLE MAY NOT REMEMBER EXACTLY WHAT YOU DID, OR WHAT YOU SAID ~BUT~THEY WILL ALWAYS REMEMBER HOW YOU MADE THEM FEEL. At the bottom of this great story was a request to forward this - I deleted that request because if you have read to this point, you won't have to be asked to pass it along, you just will... Thank you, my friend... Life may not be the party we hoped for, but while we are here we might as well dance.

Why Did Jesus Come to Earth?

Jesus Christ came into the world to save you from all your sinners. It does not have anything to do with being good. Jesus is a gift from God to All people here on earth.

1 Timothy 1:15, “This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief.” (Saint Paul speaking)

Jesus Christ came into the world to call sinners to repentance.
Mark 2:17, “When Jesus heard it, he saith unto them, They that are whole have no need of the physician, but they that are sick: I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.”

Jesus Christ came into the world to seek and save the lost.
Luke 19:10, “For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost.”

Jesus came into the world to demonstrate the true purpose of life and give Himself a ransom.
Matthew 20:28, “Even as the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many.”

Jesus Christ came into the world to be a King and bear witness to the truth.
John 18:37, “Pilate therefore said unto him, Art thou a king then? Jesus answered, Thou sayest that I am a king. To this end was I born, and for this cause came I into the world, that I should bear witness unto the truth. Every one that is of the truth heareth my voice.”

Jesus Christ came into the world to do the Will of His Father.
John 6:38, “For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of him that sent me.”

Jesus Christ came into the world to be a Light in the world.
John 12:46, “I am come a light into the world, that whosoever believeth on me should not abide in darkness.”

Jesus Christ came into the world that men might have the Abundant Life.
John 10:10, “I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.”

Jesus Christ came into the world to Judge the world.
John 9:39, “And Jesus said, For judgment I am come into this world, that they which see not might see; and that they which see might be made blind.”

Jesus Christ came into the world to Proclaim or preach the Good News about the Kingdom of God.
Mark 1:38, “And he said unto them, Let us go into the next towns, that I may preach there also: for therefore came I forth.”

Jesus Christ came into the world to die on the cross.
John 12:27, “Now is my soul troubled; and what shall I say? Father, save me from this hour: but for this cause came I unto this hour.”

Jesus Christ came into the world to fulfil the law.
Matthew 5:17, “Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfill.”

Jesus Christ came into the world to be a Divider of men.
Matthew 10:34, 35, “Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword. For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.”
(Christ makes it necessary to choose between relatives and the truth. This choice often causes division.)

Jesus Christ came into the world as a demonstration of God’s Love.
1 John 4:10, “Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.”

Jesus Christ came into the world because the Father sent Him.
John 20:21, “Then said Jesus to them again, Peace be unto you: as my Father hath sent me, even so send I you.”

a. The Father SENT Jesus to be the Propitiation (atonement) for our sins.
1 John 4:10, “Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.”
b. The Father SENT Jesus and gave Jesus as the Saviour of the world.

John 3:16-18, “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.”
c. The Father SENT Jesus to bless us by turning us from our iniquities.

Acts 3:26, “Unto you first God, having raised up his Son Jesus, sent him to bless you, in turning away every one of you from his iniquities.”
d. The Father SENT His Son to redeem us from the curse of the law.

Galatians 4:4-5, “But when the fulness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law, To redeem them that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons.”
e. God SENT His Son to make possible a new power in the hearts of men, a power to enable him to fulfil the righteousness of the law.

Romans 8:3,4, “For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh: That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.”

Mary Kissed The Face of God

The Righteous Reign of the Coming King Isaiah 9:1-7 NRSV
But there will be no gloom for those who were in anguish. In the former time he brought into contempt the land of Zebulun and the land of Naphtali, but in the latter time he will make glorious the way of the sea, the land beyond the Jordan, Galilee of the nations.

The people who walked in darknesshave seen a great light;  those who lived in a land of deep darkness—
on them light has shined.
You have multiplied the nation, you have increased its joy;  they rejoice before you as with joy at the harvest,
as people exult when dividing plunder.  For the yoke of their burden, and the bar across their shoulders,
the rod of their oppressor, you have broken as on the day of Midian.  For all the boots of the tramping warriors and all the garments rolled in blood shall be burned as fuel for the fire.
For a child has been born for us, a son given to us;  authority rests upon his shoulders; and he is named
Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God,  Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
His authority shall grow continually, and there shall be endless peace  for the throne of David and his kingdom. He will establish and uphold it with justice and with righteousness from this time onward and forevermore.  The zeal of the Lord of hosts will do this.

Las Promesas De Dios El Jesus Christo

The Light Came Into The World For ALL People "Jesus The Christ"

John 1 (NRSV)

The Word Became Flesh

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things came into being through him, and without him not one thing came into being. What has come into being in him was life, and the life was the light of all people. The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not overcome it.
There was a man sent from God, whose name was John. He came as a witness to testify to the light, so that all might believe through him. He himself was not the light, but he came to testify to the light. The true light, which enlightens everyone, was coming into the world.
He was in the world, and the world came into being through him; yet the world did not know him. He came to what was his own, and his own people did not accept him. But to all who received him, who believed in his name, he gave power to become children of God, who were born, not of blood or of the will of the flesh or of the will of man, but of God.

And the Word became flesh and lived among us, and we have seen his glory, the glory as of a father’s only son, full of grace and truth. (John testified to him and cried out, “This was he of whom I said, ‘He who comes after me ranks ahead of me because he was before me.’”)  From his fullness we have all received, grace upon grace.  The law indeed was given through Moses; grace and truth came through Jesus Christ.  No one has ever seen God. It is God the only Son, who is close to the Father’s heart, who has made him known.

The Testimony of John the Baptist

This is the testimony given by John when the Jews sent priests and Levites from Jerusalem to ask him, “Who are you?”  He confessed and did not deny it, but confessed, “I am not the Messiah.”  And they asked him, “What then? Are you Elijah?” He said, “I am not.” “Are you the prophet?” He answered, “No.” 22 Then they said to him, “Who are you? Let us have an answer for those who sent us. What do you say about yourself?”  He said,
“I am the voice of one crying out in the wilderness,
‘Make straight the way of the Lord,’”
as the prophet Isaiah said.
Now they had been sent from the Pharisees. They asked him, “Why then are you baptizing if you are neither the Messiah, nor Elijah, nor the prophet?” John answered them, “I baptize with water. Among you stands one whom you do not know,  the one who is coming after me; I am not worthy to untie the thong of his sandal” This took place in Bethany across the Jordan where John was baptizing.

1John 4:16 God is Love and Jesus the only Savior for ALL human and Jesus is Lord of Heaven on Earth.
Ask Jesus to Come into your heart and help you.  Jesus is the only answers to your all your problems.  Bless you in Jesus Christ

I Am Still Waiting For You The Lord Your God

“I gave you empty stomachs in every city  and lack of bread in every town,  yet you have not returned to me,”declares the Lord.

“I also withheld rain from you when the harvest was still three months away.  I sent rain on one town,  but withheld it from another. One field had rain;  another had none and dried up.  People staggered from town to town for water  but did not get enough to drink,  yet you have not returned to me,”  declares the Lord.

Many times I struck your gardens and vineyards,  destroying them with blight and mildew.  Locusts devoured your fig and olive trees, yet you have not returned to me,”  declares the Lord.

“I sent plagues among you  as I did to Egypt.  I killed your young men with the sword,  along with your captured horses.  I filled your nostrils with the stench of your camps,  yet you have not returned to me,”
declares the Lord.

I overthrew some of you as I overthrew Sodom and Gomorrah. You were like a burning stick snatched from the fire, yet you have not returned to me,”  declares the Lord.

“Therefore this is what I will do to you, Israel,  and because I will do this to you, Israel,  prepare to meet your God.” He who forms the mountains, who creates the wind,  and who reveals his thoughts to mankind,
who turns dawn to darkness,  and treads on the heights of the earth— the Lord God Almighty is his name. Amos 4:1-13 NIV
