Lord Hear Our Cry & Forgive Us for All Our Sins

If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land. 2 Chronicles 7:14NIV

El Amor de Dios--The Love of God

1Juan 4:9-11 (LBLA) This is how God showed his love among us: He sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him.  This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins.  Dear friends, since God so loved us, we also ought to love one another. 1John 4:9-11 NIV God is Love 1John 4:16

For The Citizen of God's Kingdom

Now when Jesus saw the crowds, he went up on a mountainside and sat down. His disciples came to him,   and he began to teach them.   The Beatitudes He said: “Blessed are the poor in spirit,      for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are those who mourn,      for they will be comforted.   Blessed are the meek,      for they will inherit the earth. Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness,      for they will be filled.   Blessed are the merciful,      for they will be shown mercy. Blessed are the pure in heart,      for they will see God. Blessed are the peacemakers,      for they will be called children of God. Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness,      for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. “Blessed are you when people insult you, pers...

I am praying for you and Jesus Christ is praying for you    Jesus Prays for His Disciples Jesus pray to God for you; “I have revealed you to those whom you gave me out of the world. They were yours; you gave them to me and they have obeyed your word.   Now they know that everything you have given me comes from you.   For I gave them the words you gave me and they accepted them. They knew with certainty that I came from you, and they believed that you sent me.   I pray for them. I am not praying for the world, but for those you have given me, for they are yours.   All I have is yours, and all you have is mine. And glory has come to me through them.   I will remain in the world no longer, but they are still in the world, and I am coming to you. Holy Father, protect them by the power of name, the name you gave me, so that they may be one as we are one.   While I was with them, I protected them and kept them safe by that name you ga...

A Gifted Young Man of God

Thank you for your support and God bless you https://www.gofundme.com/help-caleb-get-to-banff Hey everyone, thanks so much for visiting my GoFundMe page! My name is Caleb Smith, I'm currently a second year jazz trombone performance major studying at Oberlin Conservatory on a full scholarship. I was fortunate enough to have been accepted into the 2017 Banff International Workshop in Jazz and Creative Music. This highly prestigious program, run by acclaimed jazz pianist Vijay Iyer, is a three week summer intensive that selects developing musicians from all over the world to come study and work with modern jazz greats. This would be an amazing opportunity not only to meet and study with masters, but to network with like minded musicians in my age group, however the program only awards up to 60% in financial aid. The program's tuition, along with the cost of airfare (at least $400 each way) will make this a very expensive endeavor. I'll be doing everything I can to cove...

THE WISE AND THE FOOL

-

My prayers for you today that you will be wise with the help of Jesus the Christ There are four things on earth that are small but unusually wise: Ants—they aren’t strong, but they store up food all summer. Hyraxes—they aren’t powerful, but they make their homes among the rocks. Locusts—they have no king, but they march in formation. Lizards—they are not easy to catch, but they are found even in kings’ palaces.  There are three things that walk with stately stride—no, four that strut about:  the lion, king of animals, who won’t turn aside for anything,  the strutting rooster, the male goat, a king as he leads his army .   If you have been a fool by being proud or plotting evil,  cover your mouth in shame. As the beating of cream yields butter and striking the nose causes bleeding, so stirring up anger causes quarrels.    Provebs 30:25-33 NLT           God is Love 1John 4:16

Place Where You Are

Look from the Place Where You Are. It seems that life always has its ways of bringing us to a place where we need to make a fresh start. In the Bible, Abram found himself in that very place when his nephew Lot chose the best land in the area, leaving Abram with the less desirable land. But God didn't abandon Abram. Instead He showed up and gave Abram a bold new vision. ...   I like what the Lord told Abram after he and Lot parted ways. He told him, 'Lift your eyes now and look from the place where you are.' It's that phrase, "look from the place where you are," that stirs me. That's the point of a fresh start, a new beginning. God Himself will bring us to that point occasionally. You might be there right now. Maybe you want to break a bad habit or revive a lost dream. Maybe you want to get a handle on your finances, start your own business, write a book, whatever it is, God could be telling you to get started right now. This could be your new...
