The Hope of the Resurrection

Saint Paul Advice to his people and prayed 

 And now, dear brothers and sisters, we want you to know what will happen to the believers who have died so you will not grieve like people who have no hope.  For since we believe that Jesus died and was raised to life again, we also believe that when Jesus returns, God will bring back with him the believers who have died.

We tell you this directly from the Lord: We who are still living when the Lord returns will not meet him ahead of those who have died.  For the Lord himself will come down from heaven with a commanding shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trumpet call of God. First, the Christians who have died will rise from their graves. 

Then, together with them, we who are still alive and remain on the earth will be caught up in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. Then we will be with the Lord forever.  So encourage each other with these words .1 Thessalonians 4:13-18 NTL

Then to Him was given dominion and glory and a kingdom , that all peoples, nations, and languages should serve Him. His dominion is an everlasting dominion which shall not pass away, and His Kingdom that one which shall not be destroyed. Daniel 7:14 NKJV Folks, this is talking about none other than Jesus Christ of Nazareth. It matters not who is in charge or how bad things get, Daniel 7:14 gives us the conclusion of God's story and it is always for our good and His glory. This verse is for you and me but it does not exclude others. We will all serve Him. We don't have to speak the same language with our tongues as long as our hearts are the same toward Him. His place of authority is a gift from our Father and He will rule forever. His area of authority shall not pass away or be destroyed. Here in a hospital famed for modern medicine, a 10-and-a-half-foot marble statue of Jesus rises beneath its historic dome. Elsewhere, such a prominently featured religious symbol might be cause for controversy. But at Hopkins Hospital, "Christus Consolator" has managed to defy its traditional symbolism and garner respect from nearly all who pass. Long a source of solace and hope for patients and families, the Christ statue also has meaning for hundreds of employees. For many it signifies healing, hope and compassion; for others, it means faith and tradition and even freedom. To a few, it is simply a work of art, or even a throw-back to a less tolerant time. Muslims, Jews, Christians, atheists-all interpret the statue in ways that feel right for them. Here is a collection of some of my favorite reflections on men’s discipleship that I’ve posted on Facebook:   Why Reaching Men Is So Urgent: An Example:  Recently, my father-in-law and I had lunch. Our waitress, Stephanie (disguised name), seemed a little down so I struck up a conversation. Her car wouldn’t start and, not having much money, she was overwhelmed. She is 26 years old, a single mom with 6- and 8-year-old boys, and has no family in Orlando. The father of her children isn’t in the picture—he’s a bad actor. So she’s left to raise two sons without a father figure by earning tips. She has a younger brother who, without a positive father figure, is on the cusp of becoming a bad actor too. So I told her about the work we do with men and gave her a copy of The Man in the Mirror for him. When we said grace over lunch, I invited her to join us. She did, and I sensed that God encouraged her heart. What a perfect example of why God wants us to disciple men. Experience...

We must be very careful on how we use Tradition. Tradition should be use according to Jesus requirements and not implement by Human Traditions.  Human Traditions will Hinders a person or the bodies of Christ Jesus in the church.    Human Tradition does hinder the work of the Holy Spirit in the Church and the Faith of its people.  Like the letter that kills and hinders the work of God. “Such is the reliance and confidence that we have through Christ toward and with reference to God.    Not that we are fit (qualified and sufficient in ability) of ourselves to form personal judgments or to claim or count anything as coming from us, but our power and ability and sufficiency are from God.   [It is He] Who has qualified us [making us to be fit and worthy and sufficient] as ministers and dispensers of a new covenant [of salvation through Christ], not [ministers] of the letter (of legally written code) but of the Spirit; for t...
