Prayers For the People of Burma Earthquake

Prayers- May our Lord Jesus Christ comfort your people during this difficult time.  May God provide you and your people with all the needs of care, food and shelters.  I also ask God to send people to share of His Love to you and your people.   I pray in Jesus' Christ name.

Burma earthquake: At least 75 people killed  are reported to have been killed and many more injured when a powerful earthquake struck north-eastern Burma on Thursday. 

The magnitude-6.8 quake struck near the Lao and Thai borders, and was felt as far away as the Thai capital Bangkok, and in the Vietnamese capital, Hanoi.

Churches in Japan recover as ecumenical spirit shines For immediate release: 24 March 2011 Candles were lit in the chapel of the Ecumenical Centre in memory of those who were killed by the tsunami and those who now struggle to recover.  As recovery efforts in Japan proceed, the full impact of the earthquake and tsunami two weeks ago continues to be felt by some of the World Council of Churches (WCC) member churches there.  At the same time prayers, letters of solidarity and, in some cases, monetary support are coming in from the ecumenical community in Asia as well as around the world.   In a letter sent yesterday to the churches in Japan, the Rev. I am writing to you because of the Blessing and Prayers on this page from a Christian perspective in pastoral care, license minister and a teacher of word of God. I would try to show different stages of events in administrating to the care of my faith while working with interfaith communities. This was with the help of my pastoral care community. Pray for understanding of the Church and Christ Jesus- Bride is the Church and the Bridegroom is Jesus the Christ These are those (Bride) who have trusted in Jesus Christ as their personal savior and have received eternal life. In the New Testament, Christ, the Bridegroom, has sacrificially and lovingly chosen the church to be His Bride ( Ephesians 5:25-27 ). Just as there was a betrothal period in biblical times during which the bride and groom were separated until the wedding, so is the Bride (Church) of Christ separate from her Bridegroom during the church age. Her responsibility during the betrothal period is to be faithful to Him (2 Corinthians 11:2; Ephesians 5:24).
