MY LIGHT WILL SHINE

-
I Pray that your LIGHT within you will be a blessing for others.

May the Light of Christ Jesus be with you always.God is Love 1John 4:16

You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden.  Nor do men light a lamp and put it under a peck measure, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all in the house.   Let your light so shine before men that they may see your moral excellence and your praiseworthy, noble, and good deeds and  recognize and honor and praise and glorify your Father Who is in heaven.
(Matthew 5:14-16 AMP)

Now when Jesus saw the crowds, he went up on a mountainside and sat down. His disciples came to him,   and he began to teach them.   The Beatitudes He said: “Blessed are the poor in spirit,      for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are those who mourn,      for they will be comforted.   Blessed are the meek,      for they will inherit the earth. Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness,      for they will be filled.   Blessed are the merciful,      for they will be shown mercy. Blessed are the pure in heart,      for they will see God. Blessed are the peacemakers,      for they will be called children of God. Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness,      for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. “Blessed are you when people insult you, pers...

El Amor de Dios--The Love of God

1Juan 4:9-11 (LBLA) This is how God showed his love among us: He sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him.  This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins.  Dear friends, since God so loved us, we also ought to love one another. 1John 4:9-11 NIV God is Love 1John 4:16

The of Mercy in Jesus the Christ Son of King David-The Word of the Lord The Day of the Lord a Dark Day Amos 5:18-26 18  Alas for you who desire the day of the Lord !      Why do you want the day of the Lord ? It is darkness, not light; 19       as if someone fled from a lion,      and was met by a bear; or went into the house and rested a hand against the wall,      and was bitten by a snake. 20  Is not the day of the Lord darkness, not light,      and gloom with no brightness in it? 21  I hate, I despise your festivals,      and I take no delight in your solemn assemblies. 22  Even though you offer me your burnt offerings and grain offerings,      I will not accept them; and the offerings of well-being of your fatted animals      I will not look upon. 23  Take away fro...

Prayers For Christians Around the World

I am praying for you and Jesus Christ is praying for you    Jesus Prays for His Disciples Jesus pray to God for you; “I have revealed you to those whom you gave me out of the world. They were yours; you gave them to me and they have obeyed your word.   Now they know that everything you have given me comes from you.   For I gave them the words you gave me and they accepted them. They knew with certainty that I came from you, and they believed that you sent me.   I pray for them. I am not praying for the world, but for those you have given me, for they are yours.   All I have is yours, and all you have is mine. And glory has come to me through them.   I will remain in the world no longer, but they are still in the world, and I am coming to you. Holy Father, protect them by the power of name, the name you gave me, so that they may be one as we are one.   While I was with them, I protected them and kept them safe by that name you ga...

Thank you for your support and God bless you https://www.gofundme.com/help-caleb-get-to-banff Hey everyone, thanks so much for visiting my GoFundMe page! My name is Caleb Smith, I'm currently a second year jazz trombone performance major studying at Oberlin Conservatory on a full scholarship. I was fortunate enough to have been accepted into the 2017 Banff International Workshop in Jazz and Creative Music. This highly prestigious program, run by acclaimed jazz pianist Vijay Iyer, is a three week summer intensive that selects developing musicians from all over the world to come study and work with modern jazz greats. This would be an amazing opportunity not only to meet and study with masters, but to network with like minded musicians in my age group, however the program only awards up to 60% in financial aid. The program's tuition, along with the cost of airfare (at least $400 each way) will make this a very expensive endeavor. I'll be doing everything I can to cove...

THE WISE AND THE FOOL

-
Image
My prayers for you today that you will be wise with the help of Jesus the Christ There are four things on earth that are small but unusually wise: Ants—they aren’t strong, but they store up food all summer. Hyraxes—they aren’t powerful, but they make their homes among the rocks. Locusts—they have no king, but they march in formation. Lizards—they are not easy to catch, but they are found even in kings’ palaces.  There are three things that walk with stately stride—no, four that strut about:  the lion, king of animals, who won’t turn aside for anything,  the strutting rooster, the male goat, a king as he leads his army .   If you have been a fool by being proud or plotting evil,  cover your mouth in shame. As the beating of cream yields butter and striking the nose causes bleeding, so stirring up anger causes quarrels.    Provebs 30:25-33 NLT           God is Love 1John 4:16

Reclaiming the Land

The Return of the Redeemed Children of God The wilderness and the dry land shall be glad, the desert shall rejoice and blossom; like the crocus  it shall blossom abundantly, and rejoice with joy and singing.  The glory of Lebanon shall be given to it, the majesty of Carmel and Sharon.  They shall see the glory of the Lord , the majesty of our God.   Strengthen the weak hands, and make firm the feeble knees.  Say to those who are of a fearful heart, Be strong, do not fear!  Here is your God. He will come with vengeance, with terrible recompense. He will come and save you.” Then the eyes of the blind shall be opened, and the ears of the deaf unstopped; then the lame shall leap like a deer, and the tongue of the speechless sing for joy. For waters shall break forth in the wilderness, and streams in the desert; the burning sand shall become a pool, and the thirsty ground springs of water; the haunt of jackals shall become a swamp,...
