Por Cristo nuestro Señor. Amen. Jesus Is The Living Water

Jesus knew the Pharisees had heard that he was baptizing and making more disciples than John  (though Jesus himself didn’t baptize them—his disciples did).  So he left Judea and returned to Galilee.  He had to go through Samaria on the way.  Eventually he came to the Samaritan village of Sychar, near the field that Jacob gave to his son Joseph.  Jacob’s well was there; and Jesus, tired from the long walk, sat wearily beside the well about noontime.  Soon a Samaritan woman came to draw water, and Jesus said to her, “Please give me a drink.”  He was alone at the time because his disciples had gone into the village to buy some food. The woman was surprised, for Jews refuse to have anything to do with Samaritans.  She said to Jesus, “You are a Jew, and I am a Samaritan woman. Why are you asking me for a drink?” Jesus replied, “If you only knew the gift God has for you and who you are speaking to, you would ask me, and I would give you living water.” ...

Keep Your Lamp Burning

Jesus said "Be dressed ready for service and keep your lamps burning, like servants waiting for their master to return Watchfulness from a wedding banquet, so that when he comes and knocks they can immediately open the door for him.  It will be good for those servants whose master finds them watching when he comes.  Truly I tell you, he will dress himself to serve, will have them recline at the table and will come and wait on them.  It will be good for those servants whose master finds them ready, even if he comes in the middle of the night or toward daybreak.  But understand this: If the owner of the house had known at what hour the thief was coming, he would not have let his house be broken into.  You also must be ready, because the Son of Man will come at an hour when you do not expect him.” Luke 12:35-40NIV God is Love and Jesus is Lord in the Heavens and on Earth.  Jesus is the only savior of the Whole World.

T hen King Darius wrote to all peoples and nations of every language throughout the whole world: ‘May you have abundant prosperity!   I make a decree, that in all my royal dominion people should tremble and fear before the God of Daniel:  For he is the living God, enduring for ever.  His kingdom shall never be destroyed, and his dominion has no end.  He delivers and rescues,  he works signs and wonders in heaven and on earth; for he has saved Daniel  from the power of the lions.’ So this Daniel prospered during the reign of Darius and the reign of Cyrus the Persian (Daniel 6:25-28 NRVS). THE GOOD SHEPHERDESS

The Shepherd and His Flock "I tell you the truth, the man who does not enter the sheep pen by the gate, but climbs in by some other way, is a thief and a robber.  The man who enters by the gate is the shepherd of his sheep.  The watchman opens the gate for him, and the sheep listen to his voice.  He calls his own sheep by name and leads them out. When he has brought out all his own, he goes on ahead of them, and his sheep follow him because they know his voice. But they will never follow a stranger; in fact, they will run away from him because they do not recognize a stranger's voice."  Jesus used this figure of speech, but they did not understand what he was telling them.
