Some things will never change.  One of them is the solidity of the truth of God's Word.  It matters not who tries to distort and malign it;  its foundation is unshakable.  One of the reasons I am confident in the Word is that God's Word is not discerned by the head, but by the heart of man.  The hearts of men and women of God cannot be tampered with. 


Something else that always remains the same is the truth that God is very clear about those who belong to Him.  He is not confused at all.  Who are they?  They are the ones who claim to be His by turning away from all wickedness, with godly sorrow and genuine repentance.  


Any mother who has given birth and seen her baby for the first time will from then on recognize as a fraud and substitute any other child brought to her.  Surely,if a natural mother can identify her children after only one look, how much more will the Creator of the universe recognize His children who are made in His own image and likeness?


It is time to awake from our sleep and become planted on the solid foundation of God's Word so both God and the world will know for whom and what we stand.  God does not play second fiddle to anyone.  When He is first, nothing and no one else is needed.
