WHILE I WAS AWAY I KEPT YOU IN PRAYER

Jesus said, If you love me, you will keep my commandments. And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Advocate (Helper), to be with you for ever.
John 14:15-16

I was away for awhile, but in my absence I kept you in prayer. Jesus Christ makes it very clear that in His absence He will asked the Father to send a Helper for you. This Helper is the Holy Spirit. The Helper will provide you with comfort in time of need. The Holy Spirit also help you with prayers and comforts you. May the Helper provide you with support today as you start a new.

The motto IN GOD WE TRUST was placed on United States coins largely because of the increased religious sentiment existing during the Civil War. Secretary of the Treasury Salmon P. Chase received many appeals from devout persons throughout the country, urging that the United States recognize the Deity on United States coins.
