...Matthew 5: 14-16. In the passages, Jesus teaches “You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lamp stand, and it gives light to all who are in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.“  How often do you feel like you are the “light of the world”? This earthly life can be full of nothing but pain and tragedy if you let it. Our own human weaknesses leads us down all kinds of paths that bring nothing but mental, physical, and spiritual pain. Over and over again, we fall prey to thoughts of inadequacy, self hatred, shame, and loneliness to name just a few. I can speak knowledgeably about that having felt those emotions before, but take heart! There is a life worth living and loving meant for you…if you let it. Envía, Señor, tu Espíritu y todo será creado . Y renuevas la faz de la tierra . Oremos. Oh Dios, que ha enseñado a los corazones de los fieles con la luz del Espíritu Santo , concédenos el don del mismo Espíritu seamos siempre siempre del bien y gozar de su consuelo. Por Cristo nuestro Señor. Amen. Jesus is LORD of ALL Heaven and Earth Then I saw heaven opened, and there was a white horse! Its rider is called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he judges and makes war.  His eyes are like a flame of fire, and on his head are many diadems; and he has a name inscribed that no one knows but himself.    He is clothed in a robe dipped in   blood, and his name is called The Word of God.   And the armies of heaven, wearing fine linen, white and pure, were following him on white horses.   From his mouth comes a sharp sword with which to strike down the nations, and he will rule  them with a rod of iron; he will tread the wine press of the fury of the wrath of God the Almighty.    On his robe and on his thigh he has a name inscribed, ‘King of kings and Lord of lords’.
