Big Mistake to Come Against The Children of God

 Never pick a flight with the Children of God, this is what the Lord Almighty says:
After he has honored me and has sent me against the nations that have plundered you—for whoever touches you touches the apple of His eye —  I will surely raise my hand against them so that their slaves will plunder them. Zechariah 2:8-9  
David said to the Philistine, “You come against me with sword and spear and javelin, but I come against you in the name of the Lord Almighty, the God of the armies of Israel, whom you have defied.(1 Samuel 17:45)

Dear children, do not let anyone lead you astray. He who does what is right is righteous, just as he is righteous.    He who does what is sinful is of the devil, because the devil has been sinning from the beginning. The reason the Son of God appeared was to destroy the devil’s work.    No one who is born of God will continue to sin, because God’s seed remains in him; he cannot go on sinning, because he has been born of God.  This is how we know who the children of God are and who the children of the devil are: Anyone who does not do what is right is not a child of God; nor is anyone who does not love his brother. (1John 3:7-10 NIV)

The Armor of God
Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power.  Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes.  For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.    Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place,  and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace.   In addition to all this:
  • Take up the Shield of Faith, with which you can extinguish all the Flaming Arrows of the Evil one.  Take the Helmet of Salvation and the Sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God.   And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests.  With this in mind, be Alert and always keep on Praying for all the Lord’s people. (Ephesias 6:10-18 NIV)
