Honor Your Mother

“Honor your Father and Mother.  Then you will live a long, full life in the land the Lord your God is giving you. Exodus 20:12 NLT 



And the Lord said to Moses,  Say to Aaron and his sons, This is the way you shall bless the Israelites. Say to them,  The Lord bless you and watch, guard, and keep you;  The Lord make His face to shine upon and enlighten you and be gracious (kind, merciful, and giving favor) to you;  The Lord lift up His [approving] countenance upon you and give you peace (tranquility of heart and life continually).
And they shall put My name upon the Israelites, and I will bless them. Numbers 6:22-27AMP

...Matthew 5: 14-16. In the passages, Jesus teaches “You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lamp stand, and it gives light to all who are in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.“  How often do you feel like you are the “light of the world”? This earthly life can be full of nothing but pain and tragedy if you let it. Our own human weaknesses leads us down all kinds of paths that bring nothing but mental, physical, and spiritual pain. Over and over again, we fall prey to thoughts of inadequacy, self hatred, shame, and loneliness to name just a few. Jesus Christ came into the world t o save you from all your sinners. It does not have anything to do with being good. Jesus is a gift from God to All people here on earth. 1 Timothy 1:15, “This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief.” (Saint Paul speaking) Jesus Christ came into the world to call sinners to repentance.
