Overcomes the World

I Pray that you will over come the world each day.

I pray that you will over come the world each day.

In fact, this is love for God: to keep his commands. And his commands are not burdensome, for everyone born of God overcomes the world. This is the victory that has overcome the world, even our faith. Who is it that overcomes the world? Only the one who believes that Jesus is the Son of God.  1John 5:3-8 NIV

The Messiah taught His followers to love one another and to pass this love to the world.   Jesus is the Son of the living God.   He gave His only begotten Son for us to die on the Cross for the whole human race. Thank you Jesus for what you did for us, dying on the cross for the forgiveness of Sin.   Jesus said to His followers love you your enemies and treat them well.  Thank you Father God for the love you have for us.   You said we are your Friend and that you are with us until the end of age.   Blessing are you my Lord and Savior, Amen!   Thank you Holy Spirit of the living God for showing us the true.   Thank you Blessed Father God, Abba for all your love, in Jesus name. Churches in Japan recover as ecumenical spirit shines For immediate release: 24 March 2011 Candles were lit in the chapel of the Ecumenical Centre in memory of those who were killed by the tsunami and those who now struggle to recover.  As recovery efforts in Japan proceed, the full impact of the earthquake and tsunami two weeks ago continues to be felt by some of the World Council of Churches (WCC) member churches there.  At the same time prayers, letters of solidarity and, in some cases, monetary support are coming in from the ecumenical community in Asia as well as around the world.   In a letter sent yesterday to the churches in Japan, the Rev. Dr Olav Fykse Tveit, general secretary of the World Council of Churches, expressed the “dismay and sorrow” of the world wide church community.  Speaking for the 349 WCC member churches Tveit said, “We pray for God’s grace and divine protection for those who are risking their own lives in order to save others.”...
