Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God.  For just as we share abundantly in the sufferings of Christ, so also our comfort abounds through Christ.  If we are distressed, it is for your comfort and salvation; if we are comforted, it is for your comfort, which produces in you patient endurance of the same sufferings we suffer. 2 Corinthians 1:3-6(NIV)

Encouragement in the Midst of Suffering
Rare indeed is the life that is free from all trial and hardship. Even for the carefree person a lingering illness, persistent obstacle or family tragedy can result in a rude awakening to life's vagaries. To many of us such a state of affairs is an outrage. For Paul, however, suffering is an inevitable part of the Christian life and an opportunity to learn how God goes about meeting our every need. This is reflected in the central theme of verses 3-6: divine provision of encouragement in the midst of suffering.

The Messiah taught His followers to love one another and to pass this love to the world.   Jesus is the Son of the living God.   He gave His only begotten Son for us to die on the Cross for the whole human race. Thank you Jesus for what you did for us, dying on the cross for the forgiveness of Sin.   Jesus said to His followers love you your enemies and treat them well.  Thank you Father God for the love you have for us.   You said we are your Friend and that you are with us until the end of age.   Blessing are you my Lord and Savior, Amen!   Thank you Holy Spirit of the living God for showing us the true.   Thank you Blessed Father God, Abba for all your love, in Jesus name.
