Ten Commandments

Today I pray that we will remember the reason why God gave us the Ten  Commandments  (Deuteronomy 5:6-21; Exodus 20:1-17 KJV)

To keep you safe and to keep you safe from turning away from God. The Ten Commandments is God's Character of a Convenat to His people. God demands absolute loyalty.  Therefore the Ten Commandment is the ten Stipulations of God's Convenant to His people.  Jesus Christ came to fullfill this Convenant (Matthew 5:27-32 KJV)

Jesus Christ came into the world t o save you from all your sinners. It does not have anything to do with being good. Jesus is a gift from God to All people here on earth. 1 Timothy 1:15, “This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief.” (Saint Paul speaking) Jesus Christ came into the world to call sinners to repentance. Jesus knew the Pharisees had heard that he was baptizing and making more disciples than John  (though Jesus himself didn’t baptize them—his disciples did).  So he left Judea and returned to Galilee.  He had to go through Samaria on the way.  Eventually he came to the Samaritan village of Sychar, near the field that Jacob gave to his son Joseph.  Jacob’s well was there; and Jesus, tired from the long walk, sat wearily beside the well about noontime.  Soon a Samaritan woman came to draw water, and Jesus said to her, “Please give me a drink.”  He was alone at the time because his disciples had gone into the village to buy some food.
