Prayers for Haiti- Cholera Could Affect 650,000

I pray that the hand of God through Jesus Christ name hears the cries of your people. I am praying for your people.  God hear our prayers for Haiti.

United Nations has warned that the cholera epidemic in Haiti could affect many more people than previously believed.  UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon said that health officials now estimated that 650,000 people could become infected over the next six months. He also said that the UN believed the number of deaths could be twice as high as the official figure of 1,800. Mr Ban said there was an urgent need for more medical personnel.  Officials from the Pan-American and World Health Organisations estimate that an additional 350 doctors are needed on top of the 300 medical staff already committed by Cuba.

Pray for the Christians People of Nigeria Nigeria churches hit by blasts during Christmas prayers  Bomb blasts targeting Christmas Day church services in two Nigerian cities have left at least 28 people dead, with three more attacks on other towns. The Islamist group Boko Haram said it had attacked St Theresa's Church in Madalla, near the capital Abuja, killing 27 people.  A second explosion shortly after hit a church in the central city of Jos. A policeman died during gunfire.  Three attacks in northern Yobe state targeted a church and security forces. Two hit the town of Damaturu, and a third struck Gadaka.
