Prayers For the People of Burma Earthquake

Prayers- May our Lord Jesus Christ comfort your people during this difficult time.  May God provide you and your people with all the needs of care, food and shelters.  I also ask God to send people to share of His Love to you and your people.   I pray in Jesus' Christ name.

Burma earthquake: At least 75 people killed  are reported to have been killed and many more injured when a powerful earthquake struck north-eastern Burma on Thursday. 

The magnitude-6.8 quake struck near the Lao and Thai borders, and was felt as far away as the Thai capital Bangkok, and in the Vietnamese capital, Hanoi.

Jesus knew the Pharisees had heard that he was baptizing and making more disciples than John  (though Jesus himself didn’t baptize them—his disciples did).  So he left Judea and returned to Galilee.  He had to go through Samaria on the way.  Eventually he came to the Samaritan village of Sychar, near the field that Jacob gave to his son Joseph.  Jacob’s well was there; and Jesus, tired from the long walk, sat wearily beside the well about noontime.  Soon a Samaritan woman came to draw water, and Jesus said to her, “Please give me a drink.”  He was alone at the time because his disciples had gone into the village to buy some food.
