Prayers for Christians in Turkey

  Prayer:  Dear Father God creator of heaven and earth and everything it. God keep all your servants Safe from evil.                                                          O Almighty God, Lord of the harvest of souls, I ask You to guide and bless all who have gone forth to do your will. Remove anything that hinders their works for you Jesus'. Endow them with the gifts of generosity and concern. Send your Holy Spirit on them, that You Father God strengthen them in weakness, comfort them in trials and direct their efforts. May You open the hearts of their hearers to receive Your message.   
                                                                                                          Let Your revelation enlighten all minds for the salvation of souls, and let Your love heal every heart and body for the happiness of each person. May all people consciously acknowledge You and serve You by living the teachings of Your Son. We ask this through Christ our Lord.   Amen.

The motto IN GOD WE TRUST was placed on United States coins largely because of the increased religious sentiment existing during the Civil War. Secretary of the Treasury Salmon P. Chase received many appeals from devout persons throughout the country, urging that the United States recognize the Deity on United States coins. From Treasury Department records, it appears that the first such appeal came in a letter dated November 13, 1861. It was written to Secretary Chase by Rev. M. R. Jesus Christ came into the world t o save you from all your sinners. It does not have anything to do with being good.
