King Zedekiah son of Josiah, a puppet king set on the throne by Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon in the land of Judah, was now king in place of Jehoiachin son of Jehoiakim.     But neither he nor his officials nor the people themselves paid a bit of attention to the Message God gave by Jeremiah the prophet.    However, King Zedekiah sent Jehucal son of Shelemiah, and Zephaniah the priest, son of Maaseiah, to Jeremiah the prophet, saying, "Pray for us - pray hard! - to the Master, our God."    Jeremiah was still moving about freely among the people in those days. This was before he had been put in jail.    Pharaoh's army was marching up from Egypt. O LORD, our Lord, how majestic is your name in all the earth!  You have set your glory above the heavens. From the lips of children and infants you have ordained praise because of your enemies, to silence the foe and the avenger. When I consider your heavens, the work of your fingers, the moon and the stars, which you have set in place,  what is man that you are mindful of him, the son of man that you care for him?  You made him a little lower than the heavenly beings  and crowned him with glory and honor.  You made him ruler over the works of your hands; you put everything under his feet:  all flocks and herds, and the beasts of the field,  the birds of the air, and the fish of the sea, all that swim the paths of the seas.  O LORD, our Lord, how majestic is your name in all the earth! Why Did Jesus Come to Earth?

Jesus Christ came into the world t o save you from all your sinners. It does not have anything to do with being good. Jesus is a gift from God to All people here on earth. 1 Timothy 1:15, “This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief.” (Saint Paul speaking) Jesus Christ came into the world to call sinners to repentance. Mark 2:17, “When Jesus heard it, he saith unto them, They that are whole have no need of the physician, but they that are sick: I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.” Jesus Christ came into the world to seek and save the lost.
